Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has said; “Today’s digital platforms provide avenues for historically unprecedented amounts of speech, including speech by government actors. Also unprecedented, however, is control of so much speech in the hands of a few private parties,”

Thomas wrote. “We will soon have no choice but to address how our legal doctrines apply to highly concentrated, privately owned information infrastructure such as digital platforms.”

Clarence Thomas is what I like to call a clear thinker. Therefore he can separate the wheat from the chaff, and has throughout his career. He values freedom of speech but understands free speech can be abused if it is too concentrated. Is it right that president Trump was banned for life from social media but Lebron James was not banned for even a day after threatening a police officer on social media.? And please, do not try to excuse him because he did not intend to put the officer in harms way. James isn’t stupid most of the time. He knew exactly what he was doing.
