“NO”: ‘We will not stop’

Netanyahu rejects Hamas ceasefire plea after nine of their commanders were ‘neutralised’, as Israel prepares for possible Gaza ground invasion and warns: ‘We will not stop’

  • Barrages since Monday have killed top commanders, including intelligence chief and head of rocket-making
  • Hamas requested ceasefire last night on a ‘mutual basis’ after launching 1,000 rockets – leaving 7 Israelis dead
  • But Israel has vowed to press on with its military campaign despite outcry from the international community
  • UN has warned of ‘full-scale war’ as the number of Palestinians killed in airstrikes reached 83 on Thursday
  • ‘The campaign is still far from over,’ Israeli cabinet minister said last night. ‘Whatever we don’t do now, we will have to do in six months or a year from now … Israel will not stop and has no interest in stopping.’
  • Plans for a ground invasion were being drafted for the IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Aviv Kohavi later today
  • If they get his approval they will be handed up to Netanyahu and his cabinet to give the final order
‘This will not end in the next few days,’ the cabinet minister added. ‘Israel will not stop and has no interest in stopping. It is all moving in the right direction. We will act until they admit that opening fire was a mistake, just as Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah did after the Second Lebanon War in 2006.’

The only way to stop this aggression is invasion and neutralization in Gaza, unfortunate but true. You can not allow a neighboring territory to kill innocent civilians with Terrorist Rockets all day.

    Israel must defend it’s people.

This has become a political lifeline for Netanyahoo who himself and his supporters will do everything to make sure to regain the image of Israel’s only true leader. After 4 consecutive election losses, if you know, if you know Netanyahoo well, he and Mossad has planned this to make sure to win additional seats in next elections. Sending troops in Al Aqsa mosque, in between Ramadan was a provocative move, forcefully throwing the people from their houses in East Jerusalem was the flashpoint. Mossad knew that HAMMAS will retaliate to prove it as a protector of Palestinians and at the same time gives the Israelis a moral high ground to launch an attack, then go for reelection. An easy probable win, surfing on ultranationalist sentiments. I know that region well, I know it for generations, and I know how the local politics play its part. The Holocaust is very intelligently used by Israeli lobbyists to justify their own actions. I usually support Israelis actions but this time, it’s more of a planned action that a simple outbreak. Will it help anyone? Know. Will it solve the problem? Absolutely not. Can it win the election for Netanyahoo? A very fat chance for that. Sad to see the people who faced atrocities in Europe are involved in similar actions and trying to justify it. Muslims in that region are violent, wrong, support terrorism etc etc, but if Israelis are resorting to similar Fasist or Nazi tactics, them who is right here? You can never justify the killings or dozens of children for your lives. A war is fought between armies not between civilians. It’s for both Palestinians and Israelis who are not showing any regards for human lives.

Netanyahu, Please say a word of positivity to the palestinians and confirm that this is to neutralize hamas. Maybe even promise to rebuild some of the damages especially schools and public utilities. Hamas has been brainwashing the Palestinians for too long
